Outer Space: Renewal Oil
As a Coloradoan and beauty brand owner who’s passionate about hemp and cannabis, I’ve had the pleasure of trying hundreds of CBD products and I was really happy with the Renewal Face + Body Oil. The formula is an antioxidant-rich oil that repairs damaged skin and boosts a natural glow. Not only is it packed with plant-based ingredients, but also with phytonutrients that smooth skin texture and reduce trans-epidermal water loss.
I received the best results with this product when applying it before bed following a thick, hydrating toner. I also saw great results when using Renewal Face + Body Oil on irritated skin that has redness or inflammation, like ingrown hairs after waxing or shaving. The only quirk about this product is the strong cumin scent. The product is fragrance free, but it still has a strong smell that combats with other face products, so I recommend using this with fragrance-free products.
Outer Space: Universal Skincare by TONIC / Body Butter with CBD & CBG
As a Coloradoan and beauty brand owner who’s passionate about hemp and cannabis, I’ve had the pleasure of trying hundreds of high potency CBD products. Unfortunately, the Outer Space - Ultra Soothing Body Butter's potency and formula didn’t live up to the performance of other brands I’ve tried. The body butter costs $60 for a 2.82 oz tin with only 500mg of CBD and 250mg CBG. Most of my CBD products of the same size (~3 oz) range anywhere from 750 - 2,000 mg (for 3.4 oz) so I wished the potency would've at least been around 750-1,000 mg.
Upon receiving this product, I was disappointed to see that a lot of the product was lost due to leaking (featured in image) so I didn’t get the sensation of a full jar of body butter when I first opened it (the ones that get it, get it). While I did like the white paper packaging on the outside, the metal tin was flimsy and the culprit for the leak. I prefer my body butters to be thicker and more luscious, so I felt that this formula was a bit more oily than I like. Nonetheless, the formula melted into the skin quickly and left my skin feeling soft.
Because this formula is thinner, you can run through it quickly if you’re putting it on your entire body so you have to use it sparingly. The scent is gentle and great for bedtime. I had the best results when using this on my feet, knees, hips, and elbows before putting on long pjs.
