The ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Morning Matrix is a rich and bouncy daytime moisturizer that's supposed to hydrate and reduce the appearance of aging by protecting the skin from effects of blue light. The prestige moisturizer has a price of $195 for 50 ml or 1.6 fl.oz and luxurious packaging to match with a heavy glass jar and a sleek silver top. Though the price may seem intimidating, the formula performs like a prestige product. Its packed with high performing, plant-powered ingredients that give the skin a boost of hydration and a revitalized glow. The ingredients list has a blend of microalgae (hoping this is sustainably sourced), turmeric, and padina pavonica ferment. My favorite things about this product are 1. The fermented ingredients, 2. A little goes a long way, and 3. My skin feels quenched and prepped for makeup and SPF.

Though I love this product, I can't say that in the 3 weeks I used it that I noticed a reduction of fine lines or wrinkles, hence my 4 ⭐ review. Even though the product is high performing, it should keep its promise, especially for $195. With that being said, I did experience extremely soft skin and a light velvety finish after using the product in the morning with no complaints about the scent, packaging, or texture of the formula.
