Columbia Skincare review
Probiotic Concentrate
The Columbia Probiotic Concentrate is a rich serum targeting the skin’s microbiome using a unique blend of probiotics, plant stem cells and peptides to facilitate the skin’s renewal process. The formula is lightweight and increases hydration, leaving the skin feeling soft and velvety. Star ingredients include apple stem cell, lactococcus ferment lysate, and three kinds of peptides: Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7.
The rich formula feeds the microbiome of the skin targeting skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, acne, psoriasis, and rosacea. One thing I really loved about this brand was that they use recycled glass bottles for packaging, and offer a ton of education about the importance of the microbiome and the science behind your skin.
My only complaint/concern about this product is the accessibility. It’s a privilege to be apart of BeautyTap and get the opportunity to try this, but at a steep price point at $190 a bottle for 1 fl oz, I can’t imagine who can continue to pay that price regularly. I’d love to see Columbia Skincare find ways to offer more affordable products, like maybe single sheet masks or something that could be offered at a lower price point for more people to try because it’s a great product!
